Krytox™ oils are made from only fluorine, carbon, and oxygen — a mixture of compounds collectively known as perfluoropolyether (PFPE). Krytox™ perfluorinated oils deliver high performance, perform at wide temperature ranges, and provide superior quality lubrication under extreme conditions in comparison to hydrocarbon alternatives.
Krytox™ greases, using the most advanced lubricant formulated from space-age fluoropolymer technology — are created by thickening synthetic perfluoropolyether (PFPE) base oils with micro-fine polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) powder, creating a white, nontoxic grease that provides excellent lubrication in demanding applications. The PTFE thickener forms a barrier that holds the base oil at friction contact points for long-term lubrication without requiring complicated oil recirculation systems.
Krytox™ GPL Delivers Performance.
Oxygen-safe Krytox™ oils and greases combine stability, high-temperature performance, non-flammability, and chemical inertness with outstanding lubrication under a variety of conditions.
GPL 200–207: white buttery greases with all of the same properties as the GPL 100–107 oils that they are made from, but they are in grease form.
GPL 210–217: black greases that contain 5% molybdenum disulfide added as an extreme pressure additive for highly loaded gears and bearings.
GPL 220–227: white anticorrosion greases that contain 2% sodium nitrite. These grades provide rust protection at ambient temperatures, corrosion protection at high temperatures, and anti-wear protection.
